ThatOneThingTracker - Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 22, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to ThatOneThingTracker (“the App”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This document explains how the App collects, uses, and discloses data.

2. Information We Collect

(a) User-Entered Data

The App allows you to enter a single subject (e.g., a goal or habit) and logs of your progress. This information is stored locally on your device using system-provided storage (e.g., UserDefaults). We do not transmit this personal data to external servers or store it on any third-party service.

(b) Automatically Collected Data (Via Third-Party Ads)

The App uses Google AdMob to serve banner ads. Google AdMob may collect certain device information (such as IP address, device identifier, and usage data) in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

Local Data (Thing Name & Logs)

This data is used solely within the App to display your tracked subject and logged entries. We do not share, sell, or otherwise transfer this data to any external party.

Ad Data

Information collected by AdMob is used to provide relevant advertising within the App.

4. Data Storage & Security

Local Storage: The subject name and logs are stored securely on your device. Deleting the App or resetting the subject from within the App will remove this data.

No Server Storage: We do not operate any external database for storing user data, so your logs remain private to you.

5. Third-Party Services

Advertising: We use Google AdMob. Any data collected by Google is handled according to their own policies. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how they may use your information.

6. Children’s Privacy

ThatOneThingTracker does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data (e.g., the right to delete, the right to access). However, because this App does not store your data on external servers, any personal information is solely on your device. You can delete or reset the subject at any time, or uninstall the App to remove all local data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
